2003 Junior at UConn: Started in every game … a NEWISA All-New England Team selection ... a multi-dimensional player who can play forward, midfield or back ... spent the majority of the season on the backline and in the midfield ... recorded her only goal of the season in UConn’s 5-3 victory over Virginia Tech ... a leader on the team with defensive specialties to stop opponents ... uses her defensive capabilities in the backfield, but joins the attack to contribute at both ends of the field.

2002 Sophomore at UConn: Started in all 25 games, spending her time in the forward, midfield and defensive positions … named a defender on the Soccer America Team of the Week for her assist on the game-winner against Harvard and her game-winning goal against Georgetown to advance the Huskies to the BIG EAST semifinals … finished the season with one goal and three assists.

2001 Freshman at UConn: Saw action in 19 games for the Huskies, earning two starts … netted three goals for six points on the year … scored game winners in back-to-back games at West Virginia (Oct. 12) and William & Mary (Oct. 14) … the goal against the Mountaineers was the first collegiate score of her career … for her efforts that weekend, she earned BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors and a spot on the Soccer America Team of the Week … earned her first start against Pittsburgh on Oct. 19 and responded with her third goal.

At Puyallup High School: Played varsity soccer freshman, sophomore and senior seasons … also earned one varsity letter in basketball … was a three-time first team honoree and All-Area honoree … was named to the All-City team and All-State team in 2000 and 2001 … a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Zahra is the daughter of Diana Jordan and Myles Jalalian … a molecular and cell biology major … born February 1, 1983.
