George and Evering Repeat as USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Members
STORRS, Conn. (August 7, 2008) - University of Connecticut women's track and field standouts, Phylicia George (Markham, Ont.) and Alyssa Evering (Bel Air, Md.), have been selected to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2008 Division I All-Academic Track and Field team. This is the second straight year that both have earned this honor.

STORRS, Conn. (July 7, 2008) - Former University of Connecticut women's track and field standout, Deirdre Mullen, took a fourth place finish in the high jump, falling just short of qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games as she competed at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.
