2016 season: A Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American…. Selected as the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team… Selected 31st overall by the New York Mets in the 2016 MLB Draft… Rounded out his three-year Husky career with a 9-2 record as a junior, holding a 2.65 ERA with a team-best 111 strikeouts… Established a new program record with 263 career punch-outs and became just the sixth Husky to win 20 career games (22)… Earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Second Team… Named The American Tournament Most Outstanding Player after recording a pair of wins in five days, including a 6.0 inning, two-run effort against Houston in the championship game on May 29… Finished second in the league with 111 strikeouts and was sixth with a .223 batting average against… Notched a pair of 10-strikeout games against Missouri State (Feb. 26) and East Carolina (April 23).

2015 Summer: Was the first player to accept an invitation to the 2015 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. Appeared in four games, including one start. Recorded a 1.93 ERA in 9.1 innings and added 13 strikeouts.

2015 Season: American Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference...ABCA/Rawlings All-Northeast Region Second Team...NEIBA All-New England First Team...College Baseball Hall of Fame National Pitcher of the Year watch list...NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week (April 13)...made 17 appearances, starting 14 contests during the regular season...went 8-6 with a 2.07 ERA and a save...held opponents to a .202 batting average against in 100.0 innings...struck out 96 against 25 walks...led The American with a 0.98 WHIP...had more pickoffs (5) than stolen bases allowed (4)...opened the year with 7.0 two-hit innings at Florida Atlantic (Feb. 14)...struck out a career-high 10 in 8.0 innings vs. Siena (Feb. 22)...tossed 8.0 shutout innings, striking out eight and allowing two hits, at No. 23 Kennesaw State (Feb. 28)...hurled 6.1 scoreless frames against USF (April 3)...turned in a dominant complete game five-hitter with zero earned runs and nine strikeouts at No. 12 UCF, the top-hitting team in The American (April 11)...struck out nine in 6.0 innings at No. 19 Houston (May 15)...moved to the bullpen for the 2015 American Championship and did not allow a hit in 4.0 scoreless innings over three appearances, striking out seven against two walks...struck out three to grab a win with 1.2 scoreless vs. UCF (May 21)...notched his first save in exactly one year with a clean ninth vs. Tulane (May 22)...struck out three in 1.1 innings vs. East Carolina (May 23).

2014 Season: Made 18 appearances on the mound, including eight weekend starts...was effective as both as a starter and reliever...finished 5-4 with a 3.49 ERA in 67.0 innings, fanning 56 and picking up a pair of saves...was particularly efficient out of the bullpen, making 10 relief appearances and posting a 1.57 ERA in 23.0 innings...set the UConn single-season record with eighth pickoffs...earned his first career win in a brilliant bullpen outing vs. Wichita State (Feb. 21), fanning seven in four shutout innings...allowed one run in four innings at Florida (March 9)...made his first start at USF (March 21) and struck out six in five innings of one-run ball...picked up a win after allowing two runs in six innings at Cincinnati (April 13)...also tossed six innings of two-run ball for a win at Memphis (May 4)...tied his longest career outing with 6.2 innings vs. Houston (May 11), allowing one run and striking out seven...went two innings and picked up his first save against UCF (May 15)...earned the win out of the pen against the Knights the next day, striking out one in a scoreless inning...recorded an 11-out save with 3.2 scoreless innings against No. 12 Houston at The American Championship (May 22). 2014 Summer: Made 15 appearances, including two starts, for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League...finished with a 2-2 record and a 2.74 ERA in 39.1 innings...struck out 24 against 17 walks...also recorded a save...had one of the most dominant performances of the summer on July 25, allowing two hits in eight innings to pick up a win at Cotuit...held opponents to a .623 OPS overall.

High School: Attended Ward Melville High in East Setauket, N.Y.... earned All-County honors twice... earned All-Long Island honors... finished junior year season with a 0.00 ERA... recipient of the 2012 Paul Gibson award, given to the best pitcher in Long Island... drafted in the 29th round by the New York Mets.
