2012 SEASON: Appeared in and started 15 games...recorded 64 strikeouts and walked 20 in 98.2 innings pitched...posted a record of 3-8 and an ERA of 2.55; good enough for third in the BIG EAST...ranked 21st in the country with a 0.97 WHIP...pitched nine innings giving up two earned runs at Oregon (3/11) in his first career complete game...registered a win, giving up zero earned runs in seven innings against Seton Hall (4/1)...struck out 10and gave up one hit with zero earned runs in nine innings vs. Cincinnati (5/5)...pitched an eight-inning complete game at USF (5/12) with five strikeouts...beat Louisville (5/25) and gave up four hits and no earned runs in 8.2 innings...named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. 2012 SUMMER: Named a Northwoods League All-Star, playing for the Madison Mallards...started five games and pitched in 12 total appearances...pitched to a 3.53 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 35.3 innings and a 2-0 record.
2011 SEASON: Pitched 9.2 innings in seven appearances...posted a record of 2-0...registered an ERA of 2.79 and allowed three earned runs...allowed six hits and no home runs...struck out a season-high three at Massachusetts (4/18). 2011 SUMMER: APpeared in 11 games, while making three starts for Vermont (NECBL)...registered a 1-2 record, 4.39 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 26.2 innings.
High School: Attended Berlin High School in Berlin, Conn... held a career record at Berlin of 17-5 and was 9-2 during his senior year...posted a 0.78 ERA and 131 strikeouts in 73 innings of work... was named a two-time All-State and All-Conference honoree... named to the All-Hartford Courant team during his senior year...holds school record for strikeouts in a single-game with 18... also played football during his senior year... a three-time All-Academic honoree.
