2009 SEASON: Played and started in 59 games in right field... batted .311 with 70 hits, including 11 doubles, 45 runs scored and 49 RBI...walked a team leading 39 times and posted a .414 on-base percentage...opened the season with a 4-for-4 performance against Michigan State (Feb. 20)...went 2-for-2 with four RBI against Bucknell (March 14).
2008 SEASON: Redshirted. Started in 10 of 12 games played in 2008... had an injury end his season... hit .353 with 12 hits and 12 runs scored in 34 at-bats... walked nine times... had seven RBIs and one stolen base... went 2-for-4 with a season-high three RBIs against Villanova (March 28)... had a 2-for-5 performance at Louisville (March 22) with two runs scored and two RBIs as well as one walk.
2007 SEASON: Tied for team lead with a 1.000 fielding percentage... Appeared in 26 games starting 19 of those contests... had 15 hits on the season and recorded a batting average of .227... scored nine runs and drove in four others for the year... hit two doubles against Brown in a 3-for-4 day to go along with a run batted in (Apr. 18)... had a perfect 3-for-3 day at Cincinnati with 2 runs scored (Apr. 20).
2006 SEASON: Saw action in seven games and two as a starter ... finished the season with a .154 batting average in 13 at-bats ... totaled two RBIs and was a perfect 1-for-1 in stolen bases ... recorded his first career hit in an UConn's 11-1 win over Duquesne (Mar. 10) ... also had a season-high two RBI and three runs scored against Duquesne (Mar. 10).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Union Endicott High School in Endicott, N.Y. ... earned three varsity letters under head coach Ed Folli... member of the 2003 New York State Champion team ... three-time Section 4 Champions ... played in the Empire State Games for the Central team... also earned two varsity letters in basketball and was named All-Conference in his junior and senior years as well as being selected to the Stars and Stripes All-Star team.
