    2014 Season: Named Preseason American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year...missed the entire season due to shoulder surgery.

    2013 Season: Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 24th round with the 719th pick... Selected as a member of the All-BIG EAST Second Team... Started in 16 games for the Huskies, earning a team-high nine wins in 110.2 innings of work... Finished second in the BIG EAST with 86 strikeouts, including 32 looking... One of four BIG EAST pitchers to make at least 16 starts... Finished third in the conference with 110.2 innings pitched... Held opponents to just a .246 batting average... Registered one complete game, which was tied for the team lead... Went at least 6.0 innings in 15 of 16 starts this season... Finished with a 2.44 ERA to lead all Connecticut starting pitchers... Threw nine innings against Louisville (May 22) in the BIG EAST Championship, allowing eight hits and two runs en route to a 3-2 extra innings victory... Started in the first game of the 2013 Blacksburg Regional against Virginia Tech (May 31), tossing 6.1 innings, surrendering one run on six hits and striking out three.

    2012 Season: Made 18 appearances, starting two...Earned a record of 3-1...registered the second lowest ERA on the team with 1.21...had 28 strikeouts and walked five in 37.1 innings pitched...recorded his first career win against Lipscomb, pitching 1.1 innings (March 4)...pitched two innings, recording the save in an 8-7 victory at Northeastern (May 8)...struck out five in a 5.1 inningsof shutout ball to earn the win against Notre Dame (May 19)...tossed 5.2 shutout innings in a no-decision against USF (May 26) at the BIG EAST Championship. 2012 SUMMER: Pitched in 10 games for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (CCBL)...struck out 20 batters in 13.1 innings.

    2011 Season: Redshirted.

    High School: Attended Exeter High School in Exeter, N.H.... earned All-State honors during his senior year... also lettered in football...was a two-time Scholar Athlete award winner in baseball and football.

    Personal: An environmental studies and geography double major... born Jan. 24, 1992... his father Jeff played basketball at Maine and in the NBA with the Clippers... his mother Carol is a former member of the U.S. National Freestyle ski team.
