2012 SEASON: Drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 18th round as the 564th overall pick of the 2012 MLB Draft...signed with Washington and was assigned to the Auburn Doubledays (A-S.S.)...totaled 80.1 innings pitched over 16 appearances, including 10 starts,and a 5-6 record in his final year with Connecticut...posted a 3.47 earned run average and struck out 68 batters, while walking just 27...earned his first win of the season in 3.1-scoreless innings of relief at Oregon State (3/10)...went six innings in his first start of the season for the win at West Virginia (3/23)...tossed eight innings and allowed just one unearned run, while striking out five in a no-decision against Seton Hall (3/30)...struck out seven over six innings of work and got the win at Pittsburgh (4/5)...pitched eight innings and struck out four at USF (5/11)...struck out a career-high 10 batters and picked up the win against Notre Dame (5/17)after allowing just one unearned run in eight innings...was honored as the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week for his efforts in the win over ND...picked up his fifth win of the season in 6.2 innings of work over USF (5/23) at the BIG EAST Championship...finished his career with an 8-7 record, 3.27 ERA and 154 strikeouts in 184.2 innings...leaves UConn ranked sixth in all-time appearances with 66.

Posted a 2-1 record with a 2.20 ERA and nailed down two saves in 49 innings pitched... struck out a career-high 43 batters and held apponents to a .218 batting average... earned a save and struck out a season-high four batters vs. Notre Dame (5/27). 2011 SUMMER: Totaled 18 strikeouts and 16.0 innings in nine games for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

2010 SEASON: Pitched 19 innings in 11 appearances for the Huskies... recorded an ERA of 3.79 allowing eight earned runs... had 16 strikeouts while allowing 14 hits and 11 walks... opponents batted an average of .209... struck out a season-high four batters vs. Central Connecticut (4/28).

2009 SEASON: Posted a 3.96 ERA in his first season with the Huskies... recorded an overall record of 1-0 from on the mound in 15 appearances and five starts... in 36.1 innings of work, allowed 43 hits and 16 earned runs... walked 15 opponents... struck out 27... struck out five batters in five innings of work against Quinnipiac (April 20)... threw 6.1 innings in the 6-4 victory over Northeastern (April 27). 2009 SUMMER: Registered 18 strikeouts in 16 innings of work with the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three year varsity letter winner at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake... earned All-State honors... was an Albany Times Union All-Star in 2007 and 2008... drafted in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft to the Los Angeles Angels in the 44th round... struck out 75 in 46 innings pitched during his senior year... named to the Saratogian Baseball All-Star team in 2008... also a letter winner in volleyball and basketball... was the Albany Times Union Player of the Year in 2007 en route to the program winning the State Championship title... attended National Olympic Developmental camp in 2006 at George Mason University... participated in the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2004 and 2006... had the opportunity to play Division I Volleyball as well... made the honor roll his senior year.
