UConn Baseball was eliminated from the 2012 BIG EAST Baseball Championship following its 2-1 loss to USF (5/26/12).
2012 SEASON: Appeared in all 59 games, the most all-time by a freshman, and started 56... posted a batting average of .270 in 211 at-bats... registered 57 hits, 23 runs scored, and 24 runs batted in...hit one home run and seven doubles...started career with an eight game hitting streak...recorded first hit in the first game with a double, going one-for-one with three walks and an RBI vs. Indiana (2/17)...went two-for-four with a home run and two runs batted in vs. Xavier (2/24)...had a season-high three hits in five at bats at West Virginia (3/24). 2012 SUMMER: Batted .263 in 38 games with the Mystic Schooners (NECBL)...hit three home runs, scored 19 runs and drove in 13, while hitting seven doubles...named a NECBL All-Star...finished the summer in four games for the Falmouth Commodores (CCBL).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at North Haven High School under head coach Bob DeMayo...All-Southern Connecticut Conference and CHSCA and New Haven Register All-State...two-year team captain and MVP...Perfect Game Second Team All-Northeast as a senior...also played two years of varsity basketball.
