2011 Season: Selected for the All-BIG EAST Second Team...appeared in 63 games and started 62...had 77 hits and 58 runs batted in through 244 at-bats...led the team with 27 doubles...had 6 home runs...recorded a .378 on-base percentage and a .533 slugging percentage...stole 11 bases in 14 attempts...had a fielding percentage of .883...went 2-for-3 with a double and a run batted in at Yale (4/12)...went 3-for-5 with a home run and five runs batted in at Clemson (6/6).
Prior to UConn: Transferred from UConn Avery Point after graduating from Old Lyme High School in 2008... played for Roger Bidwell... played in the NJCAA World Series and made it to the finals of the NJCAA National Championship with UConn Avery Point in June of 2010...received All-New England and All-East District honors at UConn Avery Point...was named All-Conference and All-Area for three years during his high school career at Old Lyme... was on the honor roll in high school.
