    2011 SEASON: Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 18th round as the 553rd overall pick of the 2011 MLB Draft... named the Clemson Regional Most Valuable Player as well as a unanimous selection to the All-Tournament Team... earned a spot as a NEIBA First Team All-Star and chosen to the All-BIG EAST Second Team... became the fourth player in UConn history to win 10 or more games in a season with a 10-3 record... ranks second on the career list with 25 career wins... holds the program record for innings pitched at 311.1 and ranks fourth with 215 career strikeouts... started 17 games and pitched in 95.2 innings... posted a 2.63 earned run average, while striking out 57 batters... pitched six innings of shutout baseball and struck out a season-high seven to earn first win of the season against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/27)... won six consecutive starts between 4/15 and 5/20... struck out four and gave up a pair of runs over 8.0 innings at Rutgers (4/30)... earned NCAA Tournament wins over Sacred Heart (6/4) and Clemson (6/6) on short rest, allowing one run on six hits in 8.2 innings, while striking out five.
