    Baseball 2012 Alumni Game

    The UConn baseball team hosted its annual alumni game at J.O. Christian Field on Sunday, September 30.

    2013 Season: Appeared in three games for the Huskies, making one start... Recorded a 4.50 earned run average in 6.0 innings of work... struck out two batters and allowed two walks... started on 4/10 against Brown and threw three innings, allowing five hits and one earned run.. Pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Rutgers of 5/04, surrendering a walk on 19 pitches.

    2012 SEASON: Appeared in nine games... posted an ERA of 5.79 and struck out eight in 9.1 innings pitched... struck out two batters in two innings pitched against Hartford (3/27)...named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. 2012 SUMMER: Pitched in nine games and started once for the Lehigh Valley Catz (ACBL)...struck out 29 batters in 24 innings.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity baseball under head coach Gary Custer at Tunkhannock Area High School... Selected to the 2011 Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-Region Team... Helped lead team to back-to-back District Championships and an appearance in the Pennsylvania (AAA) State Championship game as a senior... Two-time Wyoming Valley Conference All-Star... Wyoming Valley Conference Co-MVP as a senior, while batting .424 and leading the league with nine wins, 80 strikeouts, 10 homeruns, and 42 runs batted in.
