2012 SEASON: Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the ninth round with the 280th overall pick...an All-BIG EAST First Team selection...named a NEIBA All-Star...selected to the ABCA Regional Second Team...named the BIG EAST player of the Week (3/12) and added to the BIG EAST Honor Roll (4/9)...appeared and started in 58 games...led the Huskies in almost every offensive category including batting average (.339), at-bats (239), runs (43), hits (81), runs batted in (38), doubles (19), home runs (9), rankingfifth in the league,and slugging percentage (.548)...recorded a 15-game hit streak from March 4-30...homered five times in six games from March 10-21, inlucindg wins over Oregon State (3/10) and Yale (3/21)...went three-for-five with two runs batted in and a home run at Boston College (4/3)...hit his ninth home run of the year and went 2-for-5 with three RBI in a comeback win at St. John's (4/15)...doubled twice and drove in the game-winning run on a walk-off double in the ninth inning at Dodd Stadium against Cincinnati (5/5)...went three-for-four with a home run and two runs scored vs. Louisville (5/25). 2012 SUMMER: Joined the Bourne Braves (CCBL) late in the summer and hit .275 in 10 games...drove in seven runs, while scoring four and adding a home run.
2011 SEASON: Was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team and honored as a NEIBA Second Team All-Star...also selected as a 2011 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Alternate...played and started in 65 games...batted .338 in a team-high 275 at-bats...recorded 93 hits including 23 doubles and 32 runs batted in...stole 2 bases at Villanova (4/15)...went 4-for-6 with three runs batted in at Bryant University (4/26)...had an on-base percentage of .392 and a slugging percentage of .491. 2011 SUMMER: Played 29 games and hit .223 for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League...hit six doubles, stole five bases and scored 13 runs.
2010 SEASON: Named to the Norwich Regional All-Tournament Team...appeared in 36 games with 93 at-bats... batted .312 with 29 hits and eight walks... recorded an on-base percentage of .373 and a slugging percentage of .548... scored 15 runs and had 18 runs batted in... went 4-for-6 with four runs batted in vs. Central Connecticut (6/5)... had three hits and two doubles in four at bats at West Virginia (4/1). 2010 SUMMER: Played for the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL)... registered 19 hits and 11 runs scored in 26 games... stole 11 bases.
High School: Graduated from IMG Pendleton School in Bradenton, Fla... a three-year letter winner between Greenwich H.S. (Conn.) and Ion Prep (N.Y.)...named a Rawlings Preseason All-American... while with Team Connecticut was a two-time National Champion in back-to-back years... ranked 247th in the Nation among 2009 high school graduates on PerfectGame.com ... ranked No. 1 prospect in Connecticut in 2009... won the Golden Bat award for Team Connecticut in 2009... Summer AAU First-Team All-American in National World Series.
