2008 SEASON: Made one start in six appearances on the mound... posted a 9.00 ERA in nine innings thrown... allowed nine earned runs and 14 hits... struck out eight batters and walked just five... struck out a season-high two opponents twice... made his first UConn start at Boston College (May 13) as he threw three innings, allowing six hits and four runs en route to a no decision for the freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three year letter winner at Sachem East High School... recorded a 9-2 overall record on the mound as a sophomore... helped lead his team to League, County and Long Island Championship titles... earned All-League honors as a junior... in 2005 his team was the No. 2 team in the state... sat out during his senior season due to an injury.
