    UConn Hands Out 2013 Awards, Holds Baseball Alumni Game

    2009 SEASON: Batted .301 in 38 games played and started... missed all but two games in the month of April due to an injury... had 44 hits in 146 at-bats... recorded five doubles, two triples and eight home runs... had 40 RBI with a .527 slugging percentage... was 10-for-13 stealing... had 47 putouts and 98 assists... scored three runs in three games... recorded four hits twice... had a season-high five RBI against South Florida (May 23) in BIG EAST postseason play, while hitting two home runs in that game... walked three times against West Virginia (March 21)... went 4-for-4 against Northwestern (Feb. 22) and North Florida (Feb. 28)... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and five RBI against South Florida (May 23)... earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on March 2.

    2008 SEASON: Named a 2008 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball... earned a spot on the University Division roster for the 2008 NEIBA New England College Baseball All-Star Game... started 54 of the 55 games played by UConn... had a UConn record-breaking season as he picked up 61 RBIs, a new single-season program record, beating out Brian Packin with 60 in 1999... recorded 13 homeruns, tying for seventh place in the UConn record books... led the Huskies with 127 total bases... added a .318 average at the plate, a team-best .577 slugging percentage and 18 stolen bases in 20 attempts... had 151 assists on defense and 85 put-outs... recorded a season-best four hits, including two doubles, at UNC-Greensboro (March 1)... picked up a season-high five RBIs with one homerun, two hits and two runs scored against Quinnipiac (May 12)... had a season-best two homeruns at Louisville (March 20).
