Baseball Drops Doubleheader to CSUN on Sunday in California

The Huskies move to 8-6 on the season after a 2-2 weekend in Northridge, Calif.

2016 Summer: Pitched for the Bourne Braves in the prestigious Cape Cod League...Went 4-2 with a 2.41 ERA, appearing in 13 games for the Braves...Fired 22.1 innings and struck out 27...Earned a victory against Orleans by pitching a season-high four scoreless innings, allowed just three hits and struck out four in the contest...Worked multiple innings on six occasions.

2016 Season: Appeared in 12 games with six starts for the Huskies as a freshman…Held a 3.93 ERA in 34.1 innings of work, striking out 27 batters…Tossed a career-long 7.0 inning of one-run ball against Fairfield on April 12…Did not allow a run in 5.1 innings of work against CSUN on March 13, striking out a career-best six hitters.

High School: Earned four letters at Bunnell High School under head coach Scott Szturma...A three-time All-State selection... Named the 2014 Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year... Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 28th round of the 2015 MLB Draft.
