The UConn baseball team hosted its annual alumni game at J.O. Christian Field on Sunday, September 30.

2012 Season: Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks and assigned to the AZL D-Backs (R)...named an NEIBA All-Star...only Husky to start all 59 games, 30 at first base and 19 at third base...hit .305 with 35 runs and 37 RBI...smacked 16 doubles, team-leading five triples, tied for second all-time in a single season,and four home runs, while stealing nine bases and walking a team-high 33 times...went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the season-opening win over Indiana (2/17) at the Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge...stole two bases in a 3-for-4 game at Mississippi State (3/3)...posted three hits in six ABs in a win at West Virginia (3/24)...doubled twice in a 3-for-5 performance with three runs at Massachusetts (4/2)...hit his first home run of the season at Fairfield (4/17) and went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a come-from-behind win...homered twice and drove in five runs, while going 4-for-5 with three runs and a double in a win over Rutgers (4/20)...named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after three home runs in two games...went 2-for-5 with two runs and a double in comeback win at Louisville (4/29)...recorded three hits in six ABs with a home run, two runs, two RBI and a double against Cincinnati (5/6)...went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the first win over USF (5/23) at the BIG EAST Championship...nine career triples are tied for fourth all-time at Connecticut...named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
2011 Season: Selected for the All-BIG EAST Second Team...appeared in 63 games and started 62...had 77 hits and 58 runs batted in through 244 at-bats...led the team with 27 doubles...had 6 home runs...recorded a .378 on-base percentage and a .533 slugging percentage...stole 11 bases in 14 attempts...had a fielding percentage of .883...went 2-for-3 with a double and a run batted in at Yale (4/12)...went 3-for-5 with a home run and five runs batted in at Clemson (6/6). 2011 SUMMER: Played in five games and batted .167 with three RBI for Keene (NECBL).
Prior to UConn: Transferred from UConn Avery Point after graduating from Old Lyme High School in 2008... played for Roger Bidwell... played in the NJCAA World Series and made it to the finals of the NJCAA National Championship with UConn Avery Point in June of 2010...received All-New England and All-East District honors at UConn Avery Point...was named All-Conference and All-Area for three years during his high school career at Old Lyme... was on the honor roll in high school.
