2013 Season: Pitched in 22 games, making seven starts and earning six wins... Held an impressive 2.57 earned run average in 66.2 innings of work... Registered 40 strikeouts to go along with only 21 walks...Tied for the team lead with five saves... Earned the win in the BIG EAST Championship semifinal over Rutgers on 5/25 with a 7.0 inning performance, allowing no earned runs on six hits and striking out a season-high six batters... Pitched nine innings against Oklahoma in the NCAA Blacksburg Regional on 6/01, giving up three runs on eight hits, tossing 117 pitches... held opponents scoreless in 14 of 22 games.
2012 SEASON: Appeared in eight games, started five... posted a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 4.25... struck out 22 in 36 innings pitched... received the win, pitching five innings and giving up one earned run vs. Lipscomb (3/2)... pitched seven innings and gave up zero earned runs in a winning-effort at Pittsburgh (4/6).
BEFORE UCONN: Attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill during 2010-11 academic year.
