UConn Baseball Ready To Open 118th Season

The Huskies are coming off their third NCAA Tournament appearance in four seasons

2015 Season: Played in 15 contests, serving a valuable role as a late-inning pinch-runner…scored four runs and added an RBI in five at-bats…came on late and scored the go-ahead run vs. Michigan State (March 15)…smacked an RBI single for his first collegiate hit at Bryant (April 15).

2014: Redshirted. 2014 Summer: Stayed in Connecticut for the summer, playing with the Torrington Titans of the Futures Collegiate Baseball league...played in 42 overall games for Torrington, batting .217 with seven doubles, five triples and three home runs...added 24 RBIs, 25 runs and 11 stolen bases...finished second among all FCBL players with his five triples.

High School:
Attended Greenwich High School in Connecticut... senior year captain and MVP of the baseball and football teams... earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference in 2012 and 2013... drafted 400th overall in the 13th round by the Texas Rangers... elected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Baseball team and the MSG All-Connecticut Baseball team... First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference in 2013 for football... elected to the Hearst Connecticut Super 33 All-Star football team in 2013... member of the honor roll every semester.
