UConn Baseball was eliminated from the 2012 BIG EAST Baseball Championship following its 2-1 loss to USF (5/26/12).
2012 SEASON: Appeared in and started 57 games...named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll (3/5)...posted a .289 batting average in 218 at-bats...recorded 63 hits, 38 runs scored, and 35 runs batted in...hit a grand slam and went 2-for-5 at College of Charleston (2/25)...blasted a three-run homer against Mississippi State (3/2)...had a nine-game hit streak from March 16-30...had a season-high four hits in five at-bats with a home run and four runs scored at Fairfield (4/17)...went 2-for-3 with one run, one RBI and one steal in a win over Louisville (5/25) at the BIG EAST Championship...named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. 2012 SUMMER: Played in 41 games for the Madison Mallards (NWL)...scored 15 runs and knocked in 12.
2011 SEASON: Played in 35 games and started 25...recorded a .230 batting average with 23 hits in 100 at-bats...also earned seven runs batted in...had a fielding percentage of .947...went 2-for-2 with a home run and a double at Central Connecticut (4/27)...had a season-high three hits in four at-bats vs. Louisville (5/13). 2011 SUMMER: Batted .231 in 15 games for the Old Orchard Beach Ragind Tide (NECBL)...scored nine runs and swiped five bags.
High School: Attended Bishop Hendricken in Warwick, R.I....earned All-State honors in both baseball and football...led his team to three State Championships and was named MVP of the championship once... earned Academic All-League honors in both football and baseball...was a member of the National Honor Society.
