2013 Season: Started all 63 games for the Huskies... Was one of just two Connecticut players to record a batting average above .300 (.302)... Tied for seventh in the BIG EAST with 77 hits... Ranked second on the team with 35 RBI... Tied for third in the BIG EAST with eight sacrifice flies... Was second among the freshmen with a .369 OBP... Recorded a five hit game against Central Connecticut on 3/13... Batted 4-5 at the plate with an RBI against Notre Dame in the BIG EAST Championship game on 5/26... Recorded at least one hit every NCAA Regional game... recorded 21 multi-hit games... Reached base safely in the first 15 games of the season.
High School: Played four seasons of varsity baseball for head coach Sal Coppola at Amity Regional High School...served as team captain as a senior and earned 1st Team All-State honors as a junior and senior...was the New Haven Register MVP as a junior...garnered All-SCC honors three times and helped lead team to the 2012 SCC Championshp.
