After Tabakman closed the book on his outing with a 1-2-3 top of the sixth inning, Vinny Siena cracked his second two-run triple of the afternoon in the bottom of the frame to put two more on the board for the Huskies.

UConn got an inning each from Max Slade (Cheshire, Conn.), Devin Over (Windsor, Conn.) and Nico Darras (Laguna Beach, Calif.) out of the bullpen over the final three frames, with each tossing scoreless innings to close out the contest.

The Huskies return to action next weekend with a trip to Kennesaw, Ga. to take on the nationally ranked Owls of Kennesaw State. Game one on Friday, Feb. 27 is set for 4 p.m.
