STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut baseball team's BIG EAST-opening series against Georgetown has been moved to Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda, Md.  Game dates remain the same, March 22-24, as well as first pitch times of 3:00, 1:00 and 1:00.

The series was originally set for J.O. Christian Field, until last week when it was determined that the field was unplayable and the games were moved to Dodd Stadium in Norwich.  However, due to this week's snowstorm that hit the Northeast, neither field was an option.

The Huskies first home game will be on April 1 against Quinnipiac at J.O. Christian.
