CLEARWATER, Fla. - The University of Connecticut baseball game against South Florida scheduled for Thursday afternoon has been postponed until Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. after a six hour long rain delay due to multiple thunderstorms traveling through the state of Florida.
UConn has not played a game in the 2009 BIG EAST Baseball Championship since Tuesday night's 6-1 win over West Virginia. The Huskies' match-up will be the first of four games scheduled to be played on Friday as Notre Dame and St. John's will play in an elimination game following the UConn/USF battle.
The rain from Thursday night did not damper the Huskies' fun as both teams decided to have a dancing competition during the six-hour rain delay. Video Link
