Eight different UConn players were named to the All-Conference First Team, including league Player of the Year Joe DeRoche-Duffin, league Pitcher of the Year Anthony Kay, and league Rookie Pitcher of the Year Tim Cate. Additionally, Penders was tabbed as The American’s 2016 Coach of the Year.
