STORRS, Conn. - Coming off a fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last seven seasons, UConn baseball head coach Jim Penders announced the Huskies' full 56-game 2017 slate on Monday afternoon. Connecticut will play a challenging 24-game American Athletic Conference schedule and host 22 games at J.O. Christian Field.

After a pair of midweek contests against 2016 NCAA Tournament participants Boston College (March 28) and Fairfield (March 29), the Huskies open their league schedule with three games at East Carolina on March 31-April 2. Connecticut then returns home for a five-game homestand beginning with tilts vs. Northeastern (April 4) and Hartford (April 5) before the team welcomes Memphis to Storrs on April 7-9.

The 20-game April schedule continues with a midweek contest at Bryant (April 11) before the Huskies head to New Orleans to take on Tulane in a conference match-up on April 13-15. The following weekend, Connecticut makes its way to Orlando to challenge UCF on April 21-23. Last season, the Huskies swept the Knights in a three-game clash in Storrs.

Two more regional match-ups with Holy Cross (April 25) and URI (April 26) lead the Huskies in to their final April series against Cincinnati (April 28-30) and close a five-game homestand.

May begins with a rematch of the American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship game as the Huskies head to the Lone Star State to battle with Houston on May 5-7.
