STORRS, Conn. - The UConn baseball team continues its 2015 fall schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 14 when it begins its annual Blue/White World Series - a best-of-three game intrasquad scrimmage.

On Tuesday, the Huskies were separated into two teams to prepare to play a three-game set at J.O. Christian Field starting at Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Thursday's tilt is set for 3:30 p.m. while Friday's nine-inning affair will start at 3 p.m. Each game is open to the public and is free-of-charge.

The annual World Series is the third major event on the Huskies' fall slate. After hosting its 2015 Scout Day on Sept. 11, the program welcomed back over 30 former players for its yearly Alumni Game on Sept. 27. The current group of Huskies defeated the Alumni, 6-2, in a nine-inning contest.

Earlier this month, the team announced its full 2016 schedule which features 56 total regular season games and 20 games at J.O. Christian Field. For a complete look at the '16 slate, please CLICK HERE.
