Before UConn: Comes to UConn as a graduate student with one season of eligibility remaining, following four years and three basketball seasons at Fordham University in the Atlantic 10 Conference... Earned degree in Communications at Fordham, graduating in 2017... Played 89 games at Fordham, starting 62,  with career averages of 8.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Scoring and assists averages improved with each season... Scored a career total of 721 points and handed out 245 career assists playing mostly as a point guard... Earned reputation at Fordham as a clutch performer, hitting a shot in the closing seconds to win a game as a sophomore and two buzzer-beaters for wins as a senior... Also became known as a tough, on-ball defender... Named Second Team Class AA All-State as a senior at Bishop Kearney HS.

As a Redshirt Junior in 2016-17 (at Fordham): Started all 32 games for the Rams, averaging 11.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.7 steals with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio...  Had 18 double-figure scoring games, including two 20-points performances... Hit the game-winner at the buzzer in overtime against VCU (1/18/17), then hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer of the second overtime against Saint Joseph’s just over two weeks later (2/4/17).  

As a Redshirt Sophomore in 2015-16 (at Fordham): Appeared in 28 games, starting 19, averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, second on the team... Had 11 double-figure games, including a career-high 23 points, on 9-of-10 shooting, in win over George Mason... tied a career-high with 9 assists vs. La Salle.

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2014-15 (at Fordham): Started 11 games among 29 appearances, averaging 4.6 ppg, 1.1 rebounds, and compiled 70 assists (2.4), second on the team... Scored 18 points in his first career start vs. Siena, one of four double-figure games.

As a Freshman in 2013-14 (at Fordham): Sat out season as per NCAA academic regulations.
