As a Senior in 2015-16: Scored eight points with a pair of rebounds in UConn’s season-opening win over Maine (Nov. 13). Scored nine points off the bench in just 11 minutes against Syracuse on Nov. 26, including 3-of-4 shooting from deep.... Came off the bench and scored a team-best 14 points on 5-5 shooting against Ohio St. (Dec. 12)... Tallied 12 points in 20 minutes of play off the bench against Tulane (Jan. 19)... Earned his second-straight start and tallied seven points and two assists in a win over SMU (Feb. 18)... Scored six points and dished out four assists on Senior Day vs. UCF (March 6)... Scored 10 points on 2-of-3 shooting in The American Conference Championship game vs. Memphis (March 13)... Added five points and an assist in a 74-67 Husky win over Colorado in the NCAA Tournament First Round (March 17).
As a Junior in 2014-15: Saw time in 28 games after straining his MCL in the preseason... Averaged 5.5 points and 1.6 rebounds... Made his first start of the season against Stanford (1/17) and had five starts on the year... Was fourth on the team in 3-pointers made (26)... Tallied a season-high 12 points against Florida (1/3), Cincinnati (1/10) and Tulane (2/22)… His 76.9 percent shooting from the free throw line was the third-best mark on the team.
As a Sophomore in 2013-14: Appeared in 32 of UConn’s 40 games, starting 11, averaging 3.8 points and 1.4 rebounds... Scored in double-figures in five games... Had a season-high 18 points against Yale (11/11)... Averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in conference play... Shot a career-best 76.7 percent from the free throw line... Made a season-best four three-pointers against Maine (12/6)... Tied a career-high with two blocks against Loyola Maryland (11/26).
As a Freshman in 2012-13: Started 29 games, averaging 11.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game... Scored in double figures in 18 games, including three games of 20 or more points... Had season-high 22 points against Maryland-Eastern Shore (12/17/12) and scored 21 against St. John’s at Madison Square Garden (2/6/13)... Hit 17 points at DePaul... Led all UConn players with 16 points and six rebounds against Villanova... Notched his second 20-point effort with 20 points, two steals and two blocks against No. 1 Louisville... Finished with 17 points against Fordham.
Before UConn: Attended the prestigious Christ the King High School hoop program in New York... Named the New York State Gatorade Player of the Year and the New York Class AA Player of the Year by the N.Y. State Sports Writers Association after averaging 25.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals to lead the Royals to a 19-8 record and the Class AA intersectional quarterfinals.
