Before UConn: Comes to UConn as a graduate student with one season of eligibility remaining, following four years and three basketball seasons at Cornell University in the Ivy League... Earned degree in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell, graduating cum laude in 2017... Played 87 games at Cornell, starting 80, and averaged 3.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and shot .502 overall... Scored 293 points, grabbed 405 rebounds, blocked 119 points and had 51 steals in three seasons, plus one game. Played in Cornell’s season opener in 2016-17, then missed the rest of the season due to personal reasons... Was teammates at Cornell for two years with former UConn graduate student player Shonn Miller... An All-State selection by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association and an Honorable Mention All-County pick as a senior at Marist HS in Atlanta.

As a Senior in 2016-17 (at Cornell): Played 20 minutes in season opener vs. Binghamton, scoring 4 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
