    While at UConn: After two walk-on seasons, he was awarded a scholarship for his senior year... Named the 2015 American Athletic Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Hard-working on the court and outstanding student, has been on Dean’s List each semester, named a UConn Babbidge Scholar (2012, 2013), a University Scholar, and a recipient of the Drotch Scholarship in Biology (2014), and the prestigious Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship (2014)... Played in 15 career games for the Huskies.

    As a Senior in 2014-15: Played in six games… Named the 2015 American Athletic Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year... Recorded his first career block against Tulsa (2/12) and also grabbed his first rebound of the season against the Golden Hurricane… Finished the season with one field goal attempt.

    As a Junior in 2013-14: A crowd favorite, appeared in eight games, playing a total of 21 minutes, scoring four points and grabbing three rebounds... Major contributor in practice and on scout teams, invaluable in game preparation... Selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

    As a Sophomore in 2012-13: Appeared in one game, against Maryland-Eastern Shore.
