Mick Cronin, Cincinnati Head Coach

On Team's Defense.

"You know when people talk about Cincinnati and they say 'they always defended well', well so does Michigan State. Quit talking about us like it's derogatory. You don't think Louisville defends? They get glorified more than we do and it does get frustrating. I will be honest with you. We are not the only team that plays defense. What I would say is defense wins. Any team that wins plays defense."

On Gary Clark.

"Gary knew that he had to take over today. I told him I was just going to keep coming to you because they put Amida Brimah on him, so I thought Gary needed to assert himself from the top of the key down, hit threes, and take Brimah off of the dribble. Do the things that Gary Clark is capable of."

Kevin Ollie, UConn Head Coach

On Poor Rebounding.

"In the first half they took it to us on the offensive board, we just have to get those rebounds. If we get more of those I thought we had a good opportunity to get out in transition."

On postseason games.

"We got a new season starting next Thursday or Friday. We just have to keep believing and stay positive."

On Jalen Adams’ injury.

"He's limping a lot. It is hard for him to push off. It didn't even look like he was going to play today but we figured we'd give it a shot, but yeah he’s hurting."

Rodney Purvis

On Cincinnati

"They are a tough team, but we can play with those guys if we come out tough and don't fall behind early."

On Senior Day Festivities

"It was great, My mom told me it was okay to cry but I told her I was locked in getting ready for this game."

Kentan Facey

On Senior Day

"I was reflecting back to my freshman year when I had my first game in Gampel and it was emotional thinking about all I have been through."

Amida Brimah

On regrouping after difficult season

"The American tournament is a new season and it does not matter what happened before. We just have to get in there and take care of business."
