Connecticut Head Coach Jim Calhoun
"First, congratulations to Tom and his team. They were better than I even thought they would be. They're a very good basketball team."

"They played 40 minutes the same way. When we let up, they took advantage of it, and that's what good teams do."

"As far as we're concerned, you take 20 minutes of the game and say it's magnificent and 20 minutes of the game, it's awful."

On Dyson
"He was brilliant at times. He's better than anyone on the team, but he's reflective of our team."

On bench
"We don't have a bench. We're faking the bench by bringing Gavin [Edwards] off. We don't have a bench right now, and that's causing problems."

On Oriakhi
"I should have put Charles [Okwandu] back in for Alex [Oriakhi]. Alex had his worst game in a Connecticut uniform. He couldn't catch the ball, he couldn't rebound the ball, and he couldn't play defense. Besides that, he was terrific. Alex is too good a player, too strong of a player, too good an athlete to play the way he played."

"We rebounded much better in the second half. But that really was getting our center out of there - it's usually a tough way to do it, and having our guard get 14 rebounds. That's a strange way to have to do it, and that won't happen against Kentucky. It's not going to happen against a lot of teams that we play. So right now our front court is a major worry of mine. I know we, hopefully, have help on the way..."

"If we play spurts against Kentucky, we can't beat them."

"If you keep fooling with Mother Nature, she'll put that lightening bolt right through us. That's the thing that scares me."

On Jeremy Lin
"He's a terrific basketball player. What I really like about him is he's athletic, more than you think so. He controls his temperament to a really nice tempo. He knows how to play. He's one of the better kids, including BIG EAST guards, who have come in here in quite some time...I really love his composure."

Jerome Dyson
"We played hard in the first half. We let it go up and down too much (in the second half). We had to put on the gas at times, and then just let if off, and kind of played their game. I was running around chasing (Jeremy Lin) the whole game. He's a great player. He mad a lot of shots for them, and kept them in the game."

Harvard Head Coach Tommy Amaker
"Certainly a very tall task for us to try to battle their front line, their quickness, their speed. You can't simulate those kinds of things."

"I was pleased with the great effort that we put forth here this afternoon, but certainly you need to play a flawless game to have a chance to win a game against this kind of terrific opponent in their home environment."

"Two of things we talked about were transition defense and trying to keep them off of the backboard. And taking care of the basketball. We felt like if we could somehow get positive possessions on the offensive end, see if we could get (Lin) in open space so he could make plays for our team - which obviously he did all afternoon."

"They're a dangerous team. They have so many different weapons."

"[Jerome] Dyson is a tremendous player. He just gives their team so much confidence."

"They're so very athletic, and just a very talented team."
