STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut and ShopRite have teamed up once again to help the hungry with a canned food drive before the UConn vs. Cincinnati men’s basketball game on Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. Fans are asked to bring a canned food item to collection bins located at all entrances of the XL Center.

Canned food donations will be accepted from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Fans who donate will be entered into a drawing to receive two club level tickets for UConn football’s opening game against Towson University on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Rentschler Field.
