BIG EAST Men's Basketball Home & Away Grid in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The BIG EAST Conference announced the 2009-10 Men's Basketball Conference opponent breakdown Thursday, featuring an 18-game schedule for each of the 16 teams in the league. Each school will play the other 15 schools, playing three opponents twice.

The University of Connecticut will play Cincinnati, Louisville and Notre Dame on a home-and-home basis in 2009-10. The Huskies will also play home games only against DePaul, Marquette, Pittsburgh, St. John's, Seton Hall and West Virginia. UConn will hit the road for additional contests at Georgetown, Providence, Rutgers, USF, Syracuse and Villanova.

UConn finished 31-5 in 2008-09 and advanced to the NCAA Final Four. The Huskies finished 15-3 in the BIG EAST, tied for second place.

The complete schedule, including dates and times, will be announced at a later date.
