ST. THOMAS, V.I. - The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team is back on the road this weekend when it plays in the 2012 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. The Huskies are off to a 2-0 start and are ranked No. 23 in the country in the Associated Press poll.
UConn opens play in the tournament on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Eastern against Wake Forest of the ACC. Wake Forest is off a 1-0 start after a 79-67 win over Radford last Friday night.
The UConn vs. Wake Forest game will be televised by CBS Sports Network. If UConn beats Wake Forest, its two remaining games in the tournament will be on CBS Sports Network. If UConn loses to Wake Forest, its two remaining games will be streamed live. All games can be heard on the UConn IMG Sports Radio Network.

It is the team’s second long trip of the young season as it opened the year topping nationall-ranked Michigan State last Friday at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany in the Armed Force Classic.
UConn will meet either Quinnipiac or Iona in the second round on either Saturday at 5 p.m. Eastern (if the Huskies loose to Wake Forest) or Sunday at 9 p.m. Eastern (if UConn beats Wake Forest).
The Huskies final game in the event will be on Monday, Nov. 19. UConn’s possible opponents are George Mason, Illinois-Chicago, Mercer or New Mexico.
