Meet UConn's 2014 Football Graduate Assistant Coaches

Group brings a wide variety of football and business experience to the Husky program.

David DeBoer is in his second season an offensive graduate assistant at UConn in 2015.

DeBoer was an offensive graduate assistant coach at Central Michigan from 2012-13. He was the defensive coordinator at the University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. The team won back-to-back league championships with DeBoer on the staff. During his time at Central Michigan, he worked with UConn offensive coordinator Mike Cummings and was part of the 2012 coaching staff that won the Little Caesar's Bowl.

Prior to entering coaching, he worked the Genesis Genetics Institute in Detroit.

DeBoer is a 2010 graduate of Hope College (Holland, Mich.) and was a four-time football letterwinner. A Dean's List student, he earned Second Team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association honors as a junior and was a three-time MIAA Honor Roll pick.
