Meet UConn's 2014 Football Graduate Assistant Coaches

Group brings a wide variety of football and business experience to the Husky program.

Josh Zidenberg is in his first season as a defensive graduate assistant at UConn.

Zidenberg was a graduate assistant coach at Virginia from the 2009-11 seasons. He is a 2008 graduate of Virginia with a degree in anthropology and earned his master's degree from the school in administration and supervision in 2011.

For the past two years, he was a Business Development Manager for Movement Mortgage, Inc., in Virginia Beach, Va.

Zidenberg was a player personnel assistant with the Miami Dolphins in 2008-09.

He was a three-time letterwinne rin football at Virginia and won the George Welsh Award following his junior season of 2006 as the most outstanding special teams player. Following his senior season of 2007, he won the John Polzer Award for ability, sportsmanship and character.

Zidenberg joined the Virginia team as a walk-on, but was later awarded an athletic scholarship.
