Kyle Cooper is in his second year as a graduate assistant at UConn. Previously he was a graduate assistant coach for two years at Westminster College (New Wilmington, Pa.) working with the defensive line. Westminster had a 9-3 record last year and won the ECAC James Lynah Bowl while being ranked 15th in the NCAA Division III in sacks.
Cooper was a two-time team captain at Robert Morris and a two-year starting linebacker. The team won the 2010 Northeast Conference championships and earned a spot in the FCS playoffs. He is a 2013 graduate of Robert Morris with a degree in sport management and has a master’s of business administration from the school as well. Scott was named a Capital One Academic All-District pick as a senior and named to the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
