After Moore chased down Texas A&M running back Christine Michael in the East-West game for a tackle behind the line of scrimmage, Mayock spent a couple of minutes raving about Moore on the NFL Network broadcast - according to Jim Fuller of the New Haven Register.
"I like the combination of heavy production at a BCS school, a great week of practice and following it up with a solid game," Mayock said. "I think as this process goes on you are going to see this guy start to rise, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if at the end of April he doesn't end up in the third round."
The announcers also said that Moore drew praise from East head coach Jerry Glanville. Glanville, a former head coach of the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons, said "put an asterisk next to that guy because you are going to know who he is in the next couple of years."
UConn tight end Ryan Griffin (Loudonderry, N.H.) and outside linebacker Jory Johnson (Mobile, Ala.) both played for the "Stripes" team as the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in Montgomery, Ala., on Saturday, Jan. 19.
