STORRS, Conn. - UConn defensive lineman Foley Fatukasi has been invited to the 2018 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (Feb. 27-March 5).
Fatukasi completed his senior season by leading the team in tackles for loss (7.5), racked up four sacks and compiled 36 total tackles for the Huskies.
During his UConn career, Fatukasi totaled 170 total tackles, 21 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks in 48 career games. He set a career-high with against ECU with 10 total tackles in 2016. In 2015, the Far Rockaway, N.Y. native was recognized as an honorable mention on the American Athletic All-Conference team.
If Fatukasi is picked in the 2018 NFL Draft he would be the 27th UConn player drafted since 2005 and the second in the last two years. This past season, 13 former Huskies held spots on NFL rosters.
The 2018 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 26 and wraps up its final rounds on Saturday, April 28.
