STORRS, Conn. - UConn football and redshirt junior quarterback Johnny McEntee (Fullerton, Calif.) became part of the internet video sensation this past week as McEntee's football trick shot video became a hit in the United States and all over the world.

McEntee and some of his fellow Huskies, including All-BIG EAST senior kicker Dave Teggart (Northborough, Mass.), made a football trick shot video last Saturday, February 5 on various sites around the Storrs campus. Most of the shots came from the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center and the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion.

As of Sunday, February, the video had almost four million views on YouTube. It was one of the most watched videos in the world on Thursday, February 10 and currently stands as the 30th most watched YouTube video for February and fourth in the entertainment category.

McEntee freely admits that not every shot was completed on the first try and some took multiple tries. The video was inspired by a similar video performed by junior Caroline Doty (Doylestown, Pa.).

So check out the following links to the two videos and the coverage that McEntee's received.
