NEWPORT, R.I. -- Here's another photo gallery from the 2012 BIG EAST Conference held at Hotel Viking.
There is a video report of the day on the UConn football home page from HuskyVision.
In other UConn football news, linebacker Graham Stewart (Durham, Conn.) will miss the 2012 football season due to a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery. Stewart injured himself during a workout on July 23 and underwent surgery on July 27. Stewart is a transfer to Connecticut from Florida, where he played as a true freshman in 2011. For Stewart to have been eligible to play this season, he also would have had to receive a waiver from the NCAA for the usual one-year of no athletic competition for a transfer. UConn did not complete the waiver process with the NCAA because of the injury. Stewart will have three years of eligibility remaining at Connecticut.
