STORRS, Conn. -- The University of Connecticut football team practiced on Tuesday afternoon for the first time under interim head coach T.J. Weist, who was named to that position on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Weist officially announced that freshman quarterback Tim Boyle (Middlefield, Conn) would be listed as the starting quarterback when the team's depth chart is released on Sunday for the game against USF on Saturday, Oct. 12.
