Kobayashi won the medalist honors on the first playoff hole. Vaccari was the 2008 Connecticut Division IV State Champion at the Gilbert School.

Junior Matt Dubrowski, the first day leader after shooting a 69, shot a 78 Sunday and finished tied for sixth. Freshman Brian Hughes (Fairfield, Conn.) finished tied for 17th and sophomore Matthew Dziubina (Shelton, Conn.) tied for 19th to round out the Husky finishers.
