KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. --- A second consecutive two-over par 73 by University of Connecticut freshman Zach Zaback (Farmington, Conn.) earned him a sixth-place tie on the individual leaderboard and a berth on the All-Tournament Team after the final round Tuesday at the Wendy's Kiawah Classic at Kiawah Island, S.C.
Zaback (71-73-73-217) finished his three rounds at four-over par, good enough to tie South Carolina's Matthew NeSmith and Alex Ellis of College of Charleston for sixth place in field of 135 players. It was the second Top 10 finish and the third Top 15 finish for Zaback in the five tournaments on UConn's 2012 fall schedule. Zaback won medalist honors at The Connecticut Cup three weeks ago.
