Kiawah Island, S.C. - The University of Connecticut golf team finished in a tie for 15th place after the final round Tuesday of the Wendy's Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Course, hosted by Charleston Southern University.

Kennesaw State and Campbell University tied for the team title, while Vaita Guillaume of Campbell and Andres Pumareiga of George Washington tied for individual medalist honors.

The Huskies were led by senior Jeb Buchanan, who tied for 28th place overall. Freshman Chris Wiatr tied for 55th, senior Matt Dziubina tied for 60th, junior Brian Hughes tied for 79th and senior Matt Carroll tied for 90th place to round out the Husky performers.

This event concludes the fall season for the Huskies.
