HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (Feb. 19, 2013) --- University of Connecticut golfers freshman Zach Zaback (Farmington, Conn.), sophomore Chris Wiatr (Woodbury, Conn.), and freshman Stephen Pastore (Greenwich, Conn.) produced identical 5-over par 77s Monday as the Huskies tied for 13th place after the first round of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Golf Tournament.
The start of the tournament, hosted by Francis Marion University at the Wexford Plantation Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C., was delayed by frost, resulting in an unfinished second round Monday.
