NORMAN, Okla. --- The 2014-15 UConn men’s golf team has earned All-Academic Team recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The UConn program is one of only 90 Division I programs to earn the academic honor and one of only two programs in the American Athletic Conference, along with East Carolina, to be recognized.

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors, a university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad and the team GPA must be a 3.0 or better. Across all divisions, including NAIA schools, junior college Division I and junior college Division II schools, a total of 169 teams were recognized.

Individually in the American Athletic Conference, five members of the UConn golf team were selected to the AAC All-Academic Team for 2014-15 --- outgoing seniors Mike Masso and Dan Myers, and rising seniors Zach Zaback, Corey Birch and Cameron MacKay.
