STORRS, Conn. - The UConn spring sports teams (baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf and men's and women's tennis) wrapped up their respective fall seasons with a cold, early morning obstacle course 5K prior to Thanksgiving break.
The workout culminated all the hard offseason work that the UConn programs put in during the fall offseason training. The obstacle course ended at the top of Cemetery Hill at the graves of Charles and Augustus Storrs, the founders of UConn.
UConn baseball head coach Jim Penders spoke to the group at the top of Cemetery Hill, congratulating the group on a great fall but reminding them that more work was still to come in preparation for the spring season.
