STORRS, Conn. - UConn senior Brant Harris (Estevan, Saskatchwan) was named to the Atlantic Hockey Association All-Conference third team announced by the league office on Thursday. It is the first all-conference honor for Harris.
The senior forward missed the first six games of the season with an injury but returned to play 28 games and heads into the postseason sharing the team lead in points with fellow captain Billy Latta (West Chester, Pa.) at 26 on the year. Harris has scored 11 goals and dished out 15 assists, tying him with classmate Jordan Sims (Toronto, Canada) for the team lead. He ended the regular season with at least a point in each of the last four games and on the season recorded at least a point in 16 of the 28 games he played.
Harris leads the team and is tied for 11th in the AHA with a +13 rating this season.
